Environmentalism and sustainability at Print Pet. 🌱

We attach great importance to a sustainable and resource-saving service. In the following, we would like to inform you about the affected measures by Print Pet.

Only what is ordered is produced.

Since all of our products are personalized and we rely on “print-on-demand”, we only print on order. There is no overproduction where unnecessary resources are used.

Environmentally friendly printing machines and inks.

We rely exclusively on partner printers who work with the most modern printing machines. Apart from the better quality, modern printing machines require less water. In addition, biodegradable and thus environmentally friendly neo-pigment inks are used.

Plastic-free shipping packaging.

All our textiles are delivered in plastic-free shipping packaging. Instead of plastic, we have been using “glassine bags” since June 2020. Some products like canvas are unfortunately still delivered with plastic. We are striving to ensure that in the future we can deliver all products with plastic-free shipping packaging.

Canvas from sustainable forestry.

The wooden stretcher frames of our canvases bear the strictly controlled FSC® seal. The seal stands for sustainable forest management that does not overuse or even clear-cut the forest. In addition, pesticides and genetic engineering are not used. The FSC® seal also stands for the increase of natural mixed forests, for the protection of rare species and ecosystems, as well as for fair remuneration.

Climate-neutral shipping with DHL GOGREEN.

Our textiles are not only printed in Germany to have short delivery distances, but also shipped climate neutral with DHL GOGREEN. Climate protection projects are used to compensate for this.

Green electricity from 100% renewable energies.

For our online shop and other internal systems, we use only electricity from renewable sources. Of course, our server location in Frankfurt also has a corresponding green energy certificate from TÜV Süd.

Digital instead of masses of paper.

We work digitally and dispense with the paper printer whenever possible. This starts with digital forms, e.g. for the tax office, and ends with your packages without flyers or other printed advertising material. If others can’t keep up with digitalization and we do have to print something out, we only use recycled paper.

Our sustainable organic collection.

Our Organic products are made from either organic cotton from sustainable plantations or recycled fabrics. The textiles from “Stanley/Stella” are also produced under fair conditions and meet the requirements of the Fair Wear Foundation, among others.
